- I picked up a GLENAYRE VHF rig at a recent auction for $10.00. It is model
- number GL 4112A, operating on 152.xxx Mhz, and 158.XXX Mhz. The unit is
- clearly a radio telephone. Unfortunately, it is missing the handset.
- Unit was manufactured in 1987,
-
- Can anyone point me towards/supply me with schematic, an owner's manual,
- or a handset? I'll pay reasonable costs.
-
- Thanks much!!

- We had this problem with N1JIT's FT5200. It was cured by taking the front
- panel out of the remote cradle and pressing the reset button on the back,
- then bringing it back up. The CPU is massively confused, and needs a reality
- check. this has only happened once in the 2 years we've owned two of these
- radios. I think something odd had just happened with the car or its electrical
- system or something (can't recall, it was quite a while ago).
-
- Never fear, no permanent damage has been done...
